It depends on your configuration. We've run 2.1.3 with very few (but more
than no) problems since it was released. Every time I try a new release
(2.1.9, 7.0.0), I promptly regret it for one reason or another.
For us, 2.1.9 wouldn't RADIUS-authenticate modem callers. 7.0.0 cause our
v.34 modem card to experience continous fatal errors and resets.
2.1.3 won't apply a filter via RADIUS (fixed in 2.1.9), has problems with
LQM, uses more memory than 2.1.0 and doubtless other glitches that I can't
recall just now. And so it goes.
Obviously (hopefully?), those problems don't occur for everyone. Again, it
all comes down to configuration.
