Make sure your radius server is sending this attribute to the Max,
possibly it is not in your radius dictionary (or additionally the
vendors file if you're running the merit radius). 
Just enter diag mode on your Max, enter 'radif' and check if the
corresponding attribute shows up when the user logs in.
