we just (about 2 weeks ago) implemented statistics using MRTG.
i see that a few people have replied to the questions posed, but
since nobody posted an example of the output, i figured i would.

we still need to add some text to explain the 3 dialin strings....
  ISDN  -> one Max4048
  56k   -> two TNT's stacked
  28.8k -> many racal chassis, connected to xyplex terminal servers
