(ASCEND) Need MAX help.

Hi.

We are very new to the Ascend user community having "inherited" an
Ascend MAX a few weeks ago. The packing list identified the following 
items:

MX-2T1 --- ASCEND MAX T1/PRI Base Unit
X-SR-T1-ST --- ASCEND MAX Base System Software
MX-HO-2CSU --- ASCEND MAX Dual CSU T1 Hardware Option
X-SL-32ET --- ASCEND MAX Slotcard Ethernet w/32 HDLC Ch
MX-SO-ISDN --- ASCEND MAX ISDN PRI Software Option

My questions are 

1) What kind of MAX is this? A 1600, 1800, 2000, 4000 
or 400x? How can I identify it? 

2) If this is not a 4000 or 400x, what are the functional
differences between it and a 4000/400x?

3) What is the latest software release for the unit and where can I 
find it?
