Your coworker is 100% correct.  We had *MAJOR* issues with 4000's (even
some 4048's) with 2 pri's running the latest OS (6.0.7 at the time) with
OSPF.  they would crash, refuse calls, etc.
Ascend's support was helpful, but couldn't resolve the issues, so they
sent us some 6000's to replace the ailing 4000's.  

I could go on forever about how much Ascend's products are lacking,
but I'll restrain myself (for now)
