Re: (ASCEND) RADIUS stop packets only

When using Radius authentication and accounting on the MAX, there is no way
to restrict the generation of Start records.
Allow Stop Only = Yes/No does not restrict the generation of Start records
from the MAX to Radius. It is related to Stop records only.

When a user successfully establishes a session with the MAX, the MAX sends
a Start record to Radius. When that user logs off, a corresponding Stop
record is generated.

If a user dials into the MAX but fails to etablish a session, no Start
record is generated, but a Stop record is generated which indicates that a
disconnect occured. This is the normal behaviour of the MAX. This
behaviour can be altered by setting Allow Stop Only = No. This means that
the MAX will only generate Stop records for successful sessions which have
corresponding Start records.

Subject: (ASCEND) RADIUS stop packets only

Is the "Allow Stop Only = Yes" toggle in
Ethernet->Mod Config->Accounting used to configure a MAX
to send only RADIUS accounting stop records? If so, I've
got mine configured this way but it's still sending both start
and stop records to the RADIUS server. Is there a change on
the server side or is there another toggle I'm missing.

Any help would be appreciated.
