(ASCEND) Simultaneous sessions by one username
We are having problems with simulataneous sessions by some of our customers
over multiple MAX boxes. The user will dialup their first account then
continue to dial-in until they hit another MAX box which will allow the
session because it can't see the first session.
We have 3 MAX 4048s loaded with 56K modems running on 5.0Ap27. Users are
being authenticated by a RADIUS server. The MAX boxes are "stacked" together.
I've been told that software release 6.X for the MAX will allow the boxes
to talk to the other boxes that are "stacked" together. Is this true?
I've also been told by another source that this type restriction has to be
done through the RADIUS server.
I'm sure this is a very easy question for most Ascend users to answer. I
would appreciate it if anyone could clear this issue up.
