(ASCEND) Max 4004 and NFAS
Borrowed this Pic from an eariler message... Nice Drawing:
Anyway, Have a Max 4004 with strange problem that the channels all seem to
work, but when someone calls it, it rings (ch 1 shows the 'r'), user hears
the ring, then it's just continues to ring on the person's modem calling
in, but the 'r' goes away on the 1st channel, and the call never gets
picked up? What do I have set wrong (or the telco)? It's on several PRI
Lines, ISDN_NFAS .. I have 1st PRI set as NFAS Num=0, Ch 24 set as
Nfas-Primary, 2nd PRI Group as NFAS Num=1, ch 24 set as NFAS-Secondary

The unit really has 3 Pri's with what would amount to the 10-200 line with
no Dchannel.. Since It is not a forwarding channel (or signalling).
According to the TelCo, that's the way the lines are grouped/paired up.
The 10-200 line is set for NFAS Num=2 since it has no Dchannel.
Any Ideas - thoughts??
