Curious.... I saw something like this on a MultiBandPlus a few years ago:
with a modem on the console port set to echo (OK, it was a mistake) on a
reboot the system would reset during the boot-up (ad nauseum). While
there was no evidence of it causing the original reboot, it sure stuffed
the boot-up process.
I wonder if it's somehow related?
