Ascend supports several different ways to do VPN's. We start with IP
Direct, then Frame Relay direct, ATMP, PPTP and L2TP. In the recent manual
(available at ftp.ascend.com) each method is described thoroughly.

You don't need to dedicated resources like a "whole PRI" for a VPN. You
provide whatever you need.
