Probably not at all (selectively). You can disable MP altogether in
Answer/Encaps, but this disables any MP functionality.

Typical Ascend flaw (there are other situations where statistics counters
or values are plain nonsense, even when they are really necessary for other
functionality like Bandwidth On Demand).
