Hi Jerry,
I assume it has something to do with X.75 protocol.
One of our members had same problem with Win98 and a ISDN Teles card few
days ago. He has been using X.75 protocol to connect to our Max 2024
running 7.0.4 firmware with no problems besides disconnects while sending
e-Mail attachments (same problem?). I told him to use correct "Teles
Miniport 1 B" protocol to connect to our max (for German Fritzcard "PPP
over ISDN" is the correct setting). Since then, the problem with
disconnects while sending e-Mail attachments has completely vanished. May
be it is also possible to adjust max default X.75-options (Window Size,
Retran count, Retran timer, Frame Length) to overcome this problem.
HTH.
Best regards
