Hi ,
You are right , the MRU size should be in your connection profiles ..
If I remember correctly , it should be under the Ethernet --> Connections
---> MRU ..
If u are in the DOS mode
ping -l 1600 x.x.x.x
the -l parameters allows us to specify the size of the packets ...
Otherwise you can always use advanced ping in your cisco ( use sweep range
and verbose ping ) to determine the size of packet your max can handle ...

Worse case, copy the serial configuration from your working Max and then
change all the necessary ip address accordingly and upload to the failing
MAX.
