Ah yes. I got caught out by this one. I'd initially misconfigured
my lines to the extent that it caused some sort of busy-out at
the telco end.

Even after I reconfigured it correctly, I was still getting the
horrible voice message when I tried to dial in. "This line is
temporarily out of order - please try again later." (At least,
I'm assuming it was the telco that was sending this out. It
couldn't have been the Ascend could it?)

Anyway, frustrated and angry, I turn off the machine and decide
to call support on Monday morning. Whereupon the guy on the desk
immediately manages to dial in without any problem at all. I'd
done umpteen soft resets, but they hadn't had any impact at all.
The hard reset had obviously sorted it out.
