(ASCEND) Filters on Wan Side

I've successfully setup a filter and applied it to the Ethernet interface
to block finger requests directed towards port 79 of the Max itself.  I'd
now like to apply this filter to the WAN interfaces also.  If I were to
setup Ethernet/Answer/Session Options/Data Filter to my filter #, would
the filter then effectively be applied to the WAN interface of every
dialup user?  We are using Radius, so would this need to be stuck into a
default profile of some type, or are those filters also still placed on
the Ethernet interface only?

We are running 7.0 and above on all Maxen.
