         We've recently installed our first TNT, and will soon be replacing 
our PM4's with them, since Lucent has canned the PM4.  I can't give any 
reports about modem compatibility since we haven't put it under full load 
yet, but I can comment about the ISDN capability of it.  I've just finished 
spending more than a week of calls back and forth with Ascend support, 
trying to get the box to accept DOV calls using csmx combo modem/hdlc cards.
         At the end of it, they finally figured out that there was a 
bug-fix that only made it into the European code, and not the US code that 
prevents it from properly routing them to the card.  The temporary fix is 
to put a dedicated HDLC card in the box, but that prevents us from fully 
loading it to accept any calls that may be given to it.
         I've been told that it will be fixed in the next release of the 
OS, but haven't been around Ascend long enough to know how long that may be.
