Re: (ASCEND) Software Release Request (Ascend Max 4xxx)
Do you Modem Ringback enabled? It makes a similar tone at the start of a
connection and can throw some modems for a loop. By default it is enabled.
If your not using that feature you can turn it off::
Ethernet -> Mod Config -> Modem Ringback=No
