Re: (ASCEND) 7.0.26
Thing is, it does this on all my 4048's AND my 6000 series with all
versions of the opsys with the newest modem code (7.0.3 and up)
It works fine till people have all modems in use then continue with the
normal dropping and loggin in - its as though the modems cannot reset
quickly enough, but the ascend accepts the inbound call anyway - but
doesnt wait or cant tell when the modem defined for that T and channel is
available. It seems to me if its coded to place the call to a slot and a
channel, that instead rerouting to slot 9 is a bad algorythm.
If some of the list members were to scan their syslog files on term
servers that should be modem only, and are using 7.X.X, I bet they would
find a bunch of slot 9 entries.
