Re: (ASCEND) Modem reset timeout



We have several 4000's, 4048's, 6000's and a couple of the new
(questionable) 3048's and this a problem with all units running 7.x.x when
they get hit hard.

This was confirmed to me by an Ascend tech, that the modems do cycle slower
with 7.x and calls can get routed to the HDLC controler when this happens.

The only solution I got from them (Ascend/Lucent) so far was to add more
units so the modem pool is larger and the units won't be hit so hard.
