RE: (ASCEND) MAX 6048 and actiontech Modems.



I don't know if the call-waiting version of their modem is still a Lucent
chipset, but if it is, go to 808hi.com and get the latest Lucent driver from
there. 808hi gets the latest Lucent drivers before the modem manufacturers
post their own OEM version of them.

We've used the generic Lucent driver with Actiontec's regular voice modems
with great success -- but we are mostly a 3COM TC shop. They play very
nicely with TC.
