TODO list




Here is my todo list of projects I'd like to undertake:

(meaning I'm going to do these myself unless someone tells me
they're doing it, will do it, or have done it)



Identify spell:  It should identify things on the ground beneath the player
  if he has nothing unidentified--probably an easy hack.

Attacktypes:  Two new ones:  a random attacktype which changes every turn,
  fire->cold->whatever, that also forces a change in the face and color
  of the attacking object.  (Have you seen color spray?  It's a neat effect.)
  Also, an attacktype which only effects magic spells.  If it sees an
  object associated with a magic spell, such as a firebreath or bullet,
  it destroyes it, if it's level is higher than the level of its victim.

Pickup:  I want to make pickup very much smarter.  I want to be able to
  tell the server "I automatically want to pick up everything which 
  has a value greater than X gold/weight."  And have it automatically pick
  up stuff like gold, gems, +2, +3 stuff, artifacts spellbooks, and ignore
  +0, +1 stuff, and other things which have such a low value-density
  that they're not worth carrying.  Alchemy helps, but it nukes items.
