not very recently since it has been along at least since 0.95.3, I have always
thought that as feature, not a bug ;)
it is quite annoying though and has caused at least 10% of char deaths in my case.

btw. could someone do something for this list to start working properly? I cant
get my mails to the real list (crossfire@ifi.uio.no) instead I have to mail to
rte-crossfire@listserv.real-time.com to get anything posted...
