Crossfire works fine with the client
when both the server and the client are on the
same machine.
However,
when I run the server on another machine, and
try to connect with the client
from home over my 28.8, 
I get this problem:
Unable to read /tmp/xclient.873 as pixmap file, error=-2

The server is exactly the same on both machines I
tested.

Anyone have an idea of the problem?
