it really SUCKS if you are a player, find a good item/potion and have
no use of it because of a too low level ... (since i play in some
muds i know that i sucks ...)

maybe it would be cool if you could NEVER buy a potion in a shop and
to restrict them to chests/quest rewards.
if there is a quest which has always potions as reward, the player
should be unable to use that potion twice.
-> it would be much harder to get all stats to maximum.
