However, it works fine with weapons having their own 'slaying', but no
title...

Right. Lost all contents in my appartment for this reason.
Except a Broken Bagpipe and all Clocks. These seem to be
immune magic (like me) :-)

Hmm...one could interpret this sentence as:
'Gods should not mind of each other, and thus improve every weapon'
:-)
Ok, I accept it...
Then how about a (high-level) prayer/spell that rids a weapon/armor
of its title ?
Also, it should be possible to get a weapon slay something, using
alchemy. (Imagine brewing a poison deadly to certain races,
and putting this on your weapon...)
