There is a bug in acid blobs. Will be fixed in the next version
(for I imagine historic reasons, acid blobs attack with acid |
ghosthit - ghosthit so it disappears after one hit. however, this
also means the attack type gets ghosthit.)
in the next version, I have removed the special property from
ghosthit which causes the monster to be removed - instead, there
is a new flag that says the monster disappears. This should work
better in just general cases.

I think they do 1-100 (a very broad range). On the one hand, that
seems excessive - on ther other, if it was only something like 1-20, they
would not be very threatening.
As a semantic point, I take it you actually mean acid sphere's? There
is another monster called just 'blob' - the blobs are the fast
moving creatures that such up every item (vacuum cleaners).
