Just tried it. Doesn't happen here. Doesn't look like a client issue ---
after all, the server knows that the weapon has been enchanted, so I
don't see how the client could cause the server to undo this.

Maybe you should double check. And explain exactly what you are doing to
make the bug raise it's ugly head.
