I was just thinking about how we could implement the Gnome. Perhaps they
could start with 1 or 2 illusion like spells (can't reall think of any
right now :), much as fireborn start with burning hands (from memory - I
never play fireborn, hence the reason I forgot to mention them on my
original race list :)
As I mentioned to Mark in a private mail, i have discovered it is trivial
to make a new class or race. I am currently experiementing on my personal
server (which occassionally has a few players on it on the crossfire days
I organise) with running with races only. I think i'll play some more and
get back to the list with a revised and hopefully playtested list of races
(based on the current list).
I haven't tried loading a character in who belongs to a now defunct class.
I will try loading a copy of my viking Lars to see what occurs. I suspect
it will work but am keeping a Lars backup :)
