CF: Re: CF scorn maps

I don't think that is posible!
You can only specify a single destination for the WHOLE DRAGON!
Unless you edit the map file by hand afterward, which is not very nice
to do anyway. However I may modify the destination point to be exact
instead of its current `randomised' placement at the pupland terminal.
Ok changed on the current server, and maps reset.
Also a few more `old city fixes'. EG: bad door which faces wrong
way, move of `weak walls' in temple so Special dagger IS needed.
etc etc etc. All minor problems.
These are in the test server (in australia) on lyrch.cit.gu.edu.au
Yes Australia is very far away, net wise.
Anyone else also running the new scorn update?
| Also, if you are at all interested in fixing other minor glitches,
| there are some off-by-one exit errors in the peterm/CTower maps:

| Exiting the main hall puts you one square up from the path.
| The stairs up and down in the main hall seem to be confused. It
| should probably use the two-square spiral image to go up to the
| barracks or down to the servants' quarters.
I have been avoiding changing maps (other than exits back to scorn)
which are outside of scorn. That map is definately outside the bounds.
Actually their is a LOT of exits in brest which are also all out by one.
Presumably due to people counting map coordinates from 1 instead of 0.
Was there some map coordinate change some time in the misty past of
crossfire?
According to the map files, those maps were create in Feb 1994 by
peter mardahl <peterm@soda.berkeley.edu>
If the author OK's it I'll make the change, otherwise no.
Anyone else wanting to contribute maps into this are also welcome.
As long as the maps are complete and no-one else on the list has
objections that is.
