Minor nit ...
Package file naming on the ftp site. There is;
client-0.95.2.tgz the client
crossfire-0.95.2-arch.tar.bz2 the archs
crossfire-0.95.2-maps.tar.bz2 the maps
crossfire-0.95.2.tar.bz2 the server
"client" as a file name does not say it is a crossfire client. I
regularly download files into a common packages directory, and I have
lost the crossfire client before because it has no crossfire name.
Adopt the naming you have for maps and arch ...
crossfire-0.95.2-client.tar.bz2
If there's risk of people downloading the server by mistake, change that
package name as well ...
crossfire-0.95.2-server.tar.bz2
I know you may want to someday disconnect server and client versions,
but I don't see this as a problem. People will fairly soon realise that
the latest client goes with the latest server.
