I second this.  Mark, how about a CVS repository for Crossfire?

I think Mark provides an extremely valuable service as maintainer/reviewer:
is there any way to have submissions to the CVS tree held pending his
approval?

I think it might also be valuable to split up maintenance responsibility:
a map czar, a client czar, a random-map czar (me), etc., or perhaps even
many map czars where maintainers for each particular map set can be
rule over their own maps.

This doesn't have to be coded in CVS.  I think we can have a reasonable
gentlemen's agreement not to commit stuff outside of our authority
without approval from Mark.  I think it's valuable to have a single 
person with final say, and Mark definitely merits that authority.

If Mark likes this idea, how can we help make it happen?  James, can
you help set up a repository?  Is there a problem of finding an appropriate
host for the repository?  I could probably scrounge a machine/organization
to host the CVS repository....
