SSH1 / open ports

I guess when you make an ssh1 connection to somewhere, it uses
the highest local port below port 1024 to connect .. because if
I make, say, four connections to another machine, this is what
netstat shows:

tcp 0 0 141.219.82.174:1020 141.219.151.1:22 ESTABLISHED
tcp 0 0 141.219.82.174:1021 141.219.151.1:22 ESTABLISHED
tcp 0 0 141.219.82.174:1022 141.219.151.1:22 ESTABLISHED
tcp 0 0 141.219.82.174:1023 141.219.151.1:22 ESTABLISHED

Just something to keep in mind. I'm prone to using up to a
half-dozen different SSH connections at a time, so I'll be
adding a few more one-way ports to my ipchains setup.
