completly irrelevant question...

hello,
    This question is completly off topic, but I don't know where else to
turn.  Anyway, I just got a new disk for my NT box, what's the most painless
way of moving the root fs onto the new disk?  I've heard of imaging programs,
but I assume this only works if the drives are physically the same and you
want them partitioned the same as well?
