  Okay, I've certainly never tried using an IDE drive >8GB, so you may be
right... Although last I recalled, there was no way to get NT or Win9x to
use a partition that size anyways, LBA or no.

  I guess this is one of those situations where I'd have to recommend
discovering the right answer for yourself.  Remember, though, if you switch
from one to the other, you *will* have to re-partition & re-format your
drives, and install again.
