Dual Boot RH6.1 & NT4 Workstation

I am currently dual booting Red Hat 6.1 and Windows NT4.0 Workstation.
When I mount the NT Partition onto the Linux file system Linux appears
to work fine.  The problem is that after this, I am unable to boot NT
without the blue screen of death.  Has anybody else experienced the
same?  I am wondering if I format a separate partition as fat and access
it from both OS's if I will still have the same problem?  This new
partition would be on a different Hard Drive from my NT OS.
