Thanks! Should be as simple as:
`dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/path/to/outputfile.iso`
That ought to preserve the data the same as it was on the cd-rom so I
doubt it'd affect the bootability of the image.
There's some funny solaris bootable cdrom instructions. I'm not too sure
how different sparc Linux would be. Check out more info here:
