could be. there are some issues I have w/ other RH6.1 installs.

I tried that already, and it just gave me the exact same error.

the strange part is that another machine that I built w/ the exact
same disk, doesn't have that problem.
oh well, live & learn.
I actually wanted to install Debian; but I only had the RH disk on hand. one
of these days I'll buy a Debian set. (mostly to support their efforts; as
opposed to just getting a Cheapbytes CD).
