We had quite a bit of trouble with disk failures on the systems we built
when we were using Seagate. Big headaches. We then went to Quantum and saw
an improvement but the failure rate was still too high. 

We have been using the Maxtor DiamondMax series since they first came out
and are quite happy. We've have had only two failures out of 250+ units we
have shipped. I have wanted to try IBM but can't justify fixing something
that's not broke (knock wood).
