Computer System Prices

Hello People,

Do any of you recommend computer systems to friends/family/customers?

Are any of you sick to death of the $400 "computer" rebates tacked on to
new computers in advertisements these days?

Is this really legal? Isn't it some sort of false advertisement or
something else equally bad? I only hope so because it just gets under my
skin for some reason. Maybe the extra math when checking prices.
Admittedly, it is not hard to do, but when you want to calculate a
benefit/cost ratio for a buy, saying "oh yeah, what is the _real_ price"
gets old fast.
