ezmlm/qmail and sublists

I followed the ezmlm FAQ and manual on setting up a sublist, but I am getting
the following error:

I setup the list with a -5 mainlist@mainhost.com, I double checked that
dir/sublist has mainlist@mainhost.com in it.

What else do I need to do?
