Given the amount of room in the Great Hall, it would perhaps be less
painful to partition the place, and hold it all on one day.  That is,
near the doors have a nice, "Hi, welcome to Linux-Land!" display, with
the remainder of the room devoted to tangled cables and whatnot.

This way, if there is a problem with the "Hello World" end of things there
is a better chance someone may be at hand to solve it quickly.

Just a suggestion.
