Re: [TCLUG:8977] E-Machines
PCI has nothing to do with whether the modem will work or not. What
actually matters is whether the modem has a dsp chip. If it doesn't, it is
a WinModem. I have had two PCI modems that work just fine under Linux (and
FreeBSD for that matter). One was a X2 USR Internal and the other was a
K56Flex ZOOM.
