Yeah. confirmend. get the adaptec cheapo card. I have a adaptec pci card
laying around with a cable that I would be willing to sell (a
non-bootablle one but it works nicely for cdr's and scanners). get in
touch if your looking for one.
But the UMAX scanners kick ass under linux.
