I need to log onto an NT machine and execute a batch file on the NT box from
a Unix machine (System V/68 on a Motoroloa MVME147/147/177). Any suggestions
how I should do this?

Microsoft has a package on their website called Unix Services for NT or
something along those lines.  It's a subset of the MKS utilities, a
commercial package that's served me well in the past.  Grab Rexec from it.
