The framebuffers on them are capable of multisync... In fact, the original
sparc 5's ship with the exact same monitors (as did many other machines).
HP also shipped the same monitor under the model number A4032A.

About the ram, thay do take 72-pin SIMMs, but AFAIK, it needs to be parity
(at least every Indy I've ever seen has had parity SIMMs in it, so I assume
they need parity).

In most cases, you're going to be better off with 8-bit graphics since the
24-bit framebuffers on them are unbearably slowwww....  Besides, IRIX still
looks fine with 8-bit graphics.  In most cases, these machines were used for
GL programming and CAD and when you have a 24-bit framebuffer, it's going
to take that much longer for your work to render.
