libglut.so.3.7.0 from Mesa 3.2 CVS (the stable branch).  I compiled it
with `./configure --prefix=/usr/X11R6 && make' if I remember right.. 
You might have to tweak the makefile to point to /usr/local/lib if your
libglut is hiding there or if your include files are in
/usr/local/include..
