but yes, i'll agree, i've used both redhat and debian for a while, and debian kicks
redhat's packaging system all over the place. i just wish apt had a sort of search
function, so you wouldn't have to know the exact name and or syntax of the package
and it would give you a list of possible options when say you typed "apt-get install
lib*" it would give you all of the options starting w/ those letters (am i making any
sense?) but hey, i'm always one to complain :). and yes, i know deslect is a better
option if you're not sure exactly what you're looking for, just think that the
command line use of apt rocks, and it couldn't hurt from a little more
functionablity.
