Cable modem setup

Hi, I'm trying to setup my linux box with media one two way cable modem.
I am a newbie when it comes to networking. I have two nic cards in the
linux box and a nic card in another pc that has windows loaded on it. I
have a hub that I use to link the pcs together and use the linux box as
a router. I have search the net and found examples on how to set this
up. Unfortunately, its not working. Has anyone been able to set this up?
