load balancing

I am fairly new to Linux's features, and I am planning to configure an
extensive web site with two servers.  I want to run Linux on the systems
with Apache and provide load balancing between the two servers.  I know
that I can do this with Win2000 Advanced Server and with the new cluster
services coming out for Netware, but how would Linux handle this.
