Whee.  The 2-way modem got installed last weekend.  Seems *very* fast
right now.  I am impressed by the fact that my connection hits fiber *in
the city i live in*.  It's 7 hops from me to ben... going from Maple
Grove->Roseville(?)->Shoreview.. All less than 10ms.  Was running Tag's
Trance Trip (shoutcast stream) over it for about 6 hours and never
skipped.  I am totally impressed by the two-way service and modem.

Heck, I even had a cheap 3com hub 'stacked' on top of it.  Theres 3
blinkies every time a packet goes through ;)

Cool thing is, all the installers seem to care about is that you can run
DHCP and give them a MAC address to provision you a address.  I basically
setup a box in front of the guy and he didn't really care.

Next test:  Home networking option (10$/mo more) with Linux and NT and
windows 98 boxes ;)
